Novice A - Champs in Oshawa!

2017-03-23

On the March 17-20, the RMMHA Novice A team traveled to Oshawa to attend the annual March Classic Tournament.

The boys started out firing on all cylinders in their first game on Friday winning 7-1 versus the Nobleking Junior Knights.  They continued their strong play with a convincing 15-1 win versus Schomberg.  The Royals were in tough in their next game against their league rivals from Almonte-Pakenham.  They played a hard fought and close game, but lost 6-4. These results positioned the team as the second seed to move into Sunday’s ‘A’ final versus the Nepean Doritos.  There was no stopping the Royals in the final. Oozing confidence, energy and determination, the players went to work and skated to an impressive 3-1 win! It would be impossible to point out individual accomplishments because every one of these kids played their best hockey of the season in capturing this championship. The coaches and parents are very proud of the effort these boys made in representing RMMHA! Congratulations!
