RMMHA Bench-Staff Volunteer - Police Records Check for 2016 / 2017 Season

All members who volunteer with the RMMHA will require a Police Records Check (PRC).  The current wait time for a PRC is approx. 8 weeks.

If you plan on volunteering for the following bench staff positions, you will require a PRC;

  • Coach

  • Assistant Coach

  • Trainer

  • Team Manager

  • On-Ice Helper

If you have not obtained a valid PRC, you will not be able to volunteer when the season starts.

 

Looking at the current status of PRC for volunteer bench staff in 2015/2016, approx. 50% have been filed, and most will expire by Dec 31, 2016. It is imperative that all bench staff seeking a volunteering position get their applications in NOW for 2016/2017 season.

An email copy of your PRC will be accepted for now, however once the Season starts, the Original copy will need to be verified by the RMMHA.

After the PRC has been verified by the RMMHA, it is up to the volunteer to keep a copy on file for their own records.
